The FeverSense tracker, supplied by Office Evolution, uses facial recognition to give immediate readings, alerting people when temperature readings exceed a specific threshold.
The device can also be linked to door entry systems and can detect if someone is wearing a mask or not, restricting access until they put one on and refusing access if temperatures exceed set levels.
During the pandemic office supply company, Office Evolution Ltd has also stocked PPE including masks, gloves, sanitiser dispensers and gel, so their customers can operate safely, saving on the amount of deliveries they receive and unnecessary contact with multiple drivers.
Steve Davis, director at Office Evolution, said: “As lockdown eases, we know there will be changes in how offices and buildings operate.
“We want to make the buying process as efficient as possible for our customers.
“Stocking safety signage and personal protection equipment alongside our usual products allows customers to order everything they need from us in order to operate safely.
“This lowers the amount of delivery drivers they come in to contact with and reduces the risk of spreading germs.
“Temperature monitoring is a big part of reducing the risk of spreading coronavirus, but it doesn’t have to be an expensive investment for businesses.
“We’d welcome anyone interested in seeing how the machine works to come and visit us at our offices in Melksham”
