Air ambulance left in lurch by CAA delay in awarding an Air Operating Certificate

WILTSHIRE Air Ambulance has been left high and dry by a Civil Aviation Authority delay.

The charity’s Bell 429 helicopter passed a CAA inspection in the first week of August but there has been a hold-up in issuing the licence which allows it to make emergency rescues.
