SCOUTING’S highest honour has been awarded to a young man in Crudwell during a ceremony at St James’s Palace.

Niall Wiggins, 17, is the first person in north Wiltshire to receive the prestigious Queen’s Scout Award for four years and is likely to have been the youngest Scout receiving the award on the day.

Having lived in Crudwell his entire life Niall has been involved with the Scouts there since he was five years old and hopes to continue working with the group as a leader when he turns 18....
