Charlene Harvey and her company SturdyByDesign, have designed leggings covered in the iconic pink ribbon, the worldwide symbol of breast cancer, and 10 per cent of the sales will be donated to Breast Cancer Care.
The money raised will help the charity continue to provide its vital support services for free to people affected by breast cancer.
SturdyByDesign, based in Malmesbury, has already raised over £3,000.
Mrs Harvey, said: "The pink ribbon leggings have been a great success, and it's fantastic seeing people wearing them from events such as the London Marathon, as well as just to the gym.
"It's fantastic to know I have raised so much money already for Breast Cancer Care and will hopefully raise a lot more.
"Seeing my mum go through her treatment for breast cancer is very upsetting, but knowing I am doing my bit to help her and others, is helping me to cope too."
Alec Raven, Head of Community Fundraising at Breast Cancer Care, added: “We’re so grateful to Charlene for fundraising for Breast Cancer Care.
"The money raised will help Breast Cancer Care to continue to provide free services including support over the phone with a nurse or someone who’s been there, welcoming online forums, reliable information and local group support.
“691,000 people are living with a breast cancer diagnosis in the UK today, and that figure is only set to grow. With support from people like Charlene we can be here for more people, whenever they need us.”
The pink ribbon leggings cost £28.99 for capri length, and £32.99 for full length, and are available in sizes 6-24. To purchase a pair, please visit: www.sturdybydesign.com.
